ANTIQUE: Altar Table Crucifix in brass.

This excellent quality religious standing brass sculpture of the Crucified Jesus Christ belonged to an old Priest in one of the previously Spanish Colonized provinces north of the City of Manila Philippines. This specific item was handed down to his ancestors. He has saved a large collection of selected Crucifixes and other Religious Art Objects through out his life (The family of the Priest reserves the right to be named at their own request).

The exact age is unknown but it is a Church altar table Crucifix estimated to be from the late 1800 to early 1900 brought by the Spaniards during their colonization of the Philippines. The item is made of Brass and has a very weathered patina but bears no makers marks. Please study the photos posted to see the depth of the detailing and the crispness of the casting.   Approximate Height is 10 inches, width 4 inches.  This is a genuine hot cast brass which is a true work of art. It may have very minimal scratches/slanting, etc. but it is in very excellent condition over all. This brass sculpture is designed to adorn a church altar table or to be a part of a personal religious home altar or religious collection.
